ERX 2025 - Another WIN for Jimmy Henderson Motorsports!

Elk River, MN – This wasn’t just another race weekend — it was launches off towering jumps, tough split-lane sand sections, and exciting high-banked corners — all on a mile-long track.

We took top qualifier for round 7 and set the pole. After the invert of 2, we started on the outside in the front row. A couple of quick lead changes left us in 2nd place, running 1-3 seconds off the leader. As we fought to gain speed and close the gap, we couldn’t quite get there. We found out later that evening that we had lost our front differential in the first half of the race. After a full send and blown tire, we finished the day in 5th.

We had broken a front differential Friday during qualifying and Saturday during round 7 and had no way of fixing either of them so we had a tough decision to make, could we race the truck in 3wd? Our answer was yes. We would take the green flag and drive competitively, but safely. 

 Another start on the front row put us in a calm position to run laps behind the leader. We restarted twice and kept the 2nd place position, but with 4 laps to go, we passed the leader! This exciting turn of events led us to the checkered flag and our second win of the season, confirming our team has what it takes!  

We learned so much about our truck and throttle control in this race that we will take and build on in the next two rounds.

 Back to Green Bay we go for rounds 9 & 10.
